Midnight Boogie Night~~~ This song is so catchy. I feel like I’ve been transported to my parents’ era. Seriously whenever I play it I have to dance.  At first, I was a little WTF at a Halloween theme in the summer, but apparently Japan is into that! The PV is fun: my favorite parts are Sayaka Jackson and when a few members do MC Hammer moves. I’ve enjoyed every AKB48 A-side for the past year (KNP to HN) so I have some high expectations for the next single!

AKB48’s 40th Single – Bokutachi wa Tatakawanai

The election-voting-single is Bokutachi wa Tatakawanai (僕たちは戦わない). The title means “We won’t fight”. I really like the song. The PV is very different from AKB’s usual election-voting-singles (aka no bikinis). The single will be officially released on May 20th. I can’t wait for the official PV to be released!! I heard it will be 12 minutes long plus the director is legit (he did the Rurouni Kenshin trilogy) so I expect it to be epic.
